Clothing choices are not purely functional.
They possess the power to express our unique personalities and, in a deeper sense, have the potential to transform our lives by forging connections.

The Museum of Fashion introduces their newest exhibition,
Revelry: A History of Fashion's Obsession With the Color Black
Black, which absorbs all colors, has always bewitched us. Over hundreds of years, its status and symbolism has shifted, traversing religions, classes and witch hunts, and the leather jackets of a million teenage rebellions.
To promote the latest exhibit, posters will be placed in multiple locations throughout the city. These will include the subway, bustling sidewalks, and the corners of prominent buildings.
The creation process for these posters involved a unique artistic approach. First the stencil was designed featuring the title 'Revelry'. Then the stencil was applied to various articles of black fabric using spray paint. The resulting pieces were then photographed to capture the essence of the exhibit.
